The CentrEau project seed money program is designed to encourage the emergence of collaborative, cross-sectoral research projects in the water sector by providing seed funding for researchers (financial leverage).
Six (6) non-renewable envelopes of $20,000 are available each year. These amounts are used to cover research-related expenses.
One (1) additional non-renewable envelope of $10,000 per project is available for projects where one of the two principal investigators of the project is from a Centre collégial de transfert de technologie (CCTT) and involves one of its college students in the project.

CentrEau's Infrastructure Program (tools, instruments, and equipment) aims to facilitate the maintenance, improvement, or acquisition of new infrastructure necessary for research, innovation, promotion, and dissemination activities in the water sector.
