Speaker:

Hanif Pourshahbaz, completed his bachelor's degree in civil engineering at Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran. He further pursued a master's degree in Water and Hydraulic Structure Engineering from Zanjan University, Iran. In September 2021, Hanif embarked on his Ph.D. at Université Laval, focusing on evaluating the effectiveness and applicability of Ice Control Structures (ICSs) for flood management under the guidance of Dr. Tadros Ghobrial and Dr. Ahmad Shakibaeinia. His dedication to this research area highlights his interest in addressing challenges related to flood management and safeguarding infrastructure in harsh winter conditions.
