Summary: Prof. Caetano Dorea leads the Public Health & Environmental Engineering (PH2E) Lab at the University of Victoria. This is Canada’s first research primarily dedicated to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). In this webinar, Prof. Dorea will share his experiences from a visit to two refugee camps that were set up in response to the Rohingya crisis in Bangladesh. This was part of collaborative work with Oxfam, a leading humanitarian relief agency in the provision of WASH. Prof. Dorea's work in Bangladesh is part of a broader research theme of the PH2E Lab.
