To participate

• Write your proposed text in the following form (template) (.docx) with the name “SVQ_NAME_First name.docx”

• Here is an example of an old text from a did you know clip (in green)

• Then send your text to liaison@centreau.org with the email subject “SVQ Clip”

• You can send us your text at any time during the year. You will receive an email if your text is selected.

Criteria

We ask you to write a short text which summarizes in a language accessible to a wider audience one or more of the results of your research project while respecting the following criteria:

• Your text must not be too technical since we are addressing a very wide audience. As an exercise, we recommend having someone who has no background in water read your text and asking them if they understood correctly.

• Your text must be divided into a minimum of 3 sentences and a maximum of 6 separate sentences.

• Your text should not exceed 1 minute when you read it aloud at a medium to low speed.

• You must add all the sources consulted to write the text.

• The subject must be interesting and aimed at a general audience.

• Your data/results mentioned in your text must be final data, i.e. data that will not be modified in the future.

• You must write the text in French and English (we can help you with the translation).

• The title of your clip must contain less than 50 characters.

• Your text will be reviewed by our team.
